For European students wishing to gain international work experience in the UK
Please note that we no longer run the Leonardo programme. For EU funded programmes, please view our Erasmus+ page.
Twin works in partnership with organisations which are funded by the European Union through the Leonardo da Vinci programme to provide opportunities for European students wishing to gain language tuition and international work experience in the UK.
Having worked as a hosting and sending organisation for the Leonardo da Vinci scheme for the past nine years, we fully understand the needs and requirements of all parties involved in this invaluable mobility programme. This understanding and experience enables us to provide high quality programmes with Leonardo funding, and we now successfully deliver our award winning work experience programmes to over 80 inbound Leonardo groups, and 100 outbound candidates each year.
For European students that have already obtained a Leonardo grant; please refer to our internship programmes.
Twin works directly with partner agents to provide a full range of services to Leonardo funded groups from across Europe. The service options available include; English courses, work experience, accommodation, and comprehensive group travel services to locations across the UK.
All of these services can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of funding criteria, with the following options available:
Students attending the Leonardo programme with Twin have the option of studying at one of our British Council accredited schools in London or Eastbourne. Twin's London school, located in South-East London just 15 minutes from the city centre, is a great platform for students wishing to study, and gain work skills while experiencing the lifestyle of this cosmopolitan city. Our other school is based in the picturesque seaside town of Eastbourne, which is perferct for students who want to study in relaxed surroundings, while being close enough to London and other cities to go sightseeing.
The following options are available for groups or individuals attending our schools:
Both of our schools also run a social programme for students which is updated on a monthly basis with new activities and social events, ensuring every candidate arriving at Twin enjoys a fulfilling social experience with students from across the globe.

At Twin we have two types of accommodation (homestay & residential) on offer to meet the needs of different individuals and groups.
Homestay Accommodation (London and Eastbourne):
Many students travelling to the UK want to practice their English consistently with native English speakers. We believe the best way to acheive this is to book homestay accommodation with one of Twin's hospitable and experienced host families. All host families are within easy reach of work placements, the Twin training centre, and Central London/Central Eastbourne (depending on your chosen centre). Host family accommodation is available with:
Residential Accommodation (London only):
For students who are more independent and do not want to stay in homestay accommodation, there is the option of staying in residential accommodation. Twin's residential accommodation is located in East and South-West London, all of which are within easy travelling distance of the Twin training centre, Central London, and our partner organisations. Residential Accommodation is available with:
