We are looking for a French-speaking Group Operations Executive for our busy group operations department. This varied office based role involves sales, group operations (eg booking accommodation and attractions, invoicing clients and issuing travel documents) and after-sales customer service.role involves organising tours in London and the UK for student groups from France and other countries. Applicants should have excellent communication skills both in English and French, be extremely well organised, able to work well under pressure and have a good knowledge of London and the rest of the UK. Experience within the travel industry will also be useful. This varied role involves sales, group operations and after-sales customer service.

The Person:

The Role:
Selling employer engagement services devised by Twin Employment to Employers across London. The range of services cover recruitment, training and workforce development services. The main part of the role will be spent creating new business through cold calling and also contacting some existing customers. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with a medical/nursing recruitment background.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively build and develop a portfolio of accounts/customers in your allocated letter and sector split.
  • Gather and record all relevant sales information onto profile rpm.
  • Maintain and update customer database to allow effective direct marketing activities onto profile rpm.
  • To consistently achieve sales targets and daily call targets as set by departmental manager.
  • Establish customer needs by building rapport and using effective questioning techniques
  • Ensure all new sales enquiries are progressed and sales opportunities are maximised
  • Work as part of a team across the sales structure to ensure the team maximises performance.
  • Arrange potential customer visit’s to maximise sales.
  • Report on job outputs and present the relevant evidence required to support the claims.
  • Actively work on candidates to support them to secure the jobs they are looking for and prepared the relevant information required about the employer.
  • Work closely with the training team to feedback job details and information about candidates that may need additional support for interviews.

Qualifications/experience required:

  • Educated to GCSE/ A Level standards, with A-C grades in maths and English or equivalent
  • Experience of sales / telesales
  • Self Motivated with the ability to plan own sales approach
  • Experience of working within a busy highly targeted office environment
  • Competent PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Power point

Knowledge:
Basic selling techniques
This role requires a good team player who is conscientious and goal orientated.

The successful candidate must also be able to work quickly and effectively and able to work under pressure to set deadlines.

Person specification:

  • Ideally a graduate, preferably with an associated degree (eg travel, tourism, international development, sales, marketing, business)
  • A native English speaker preferably, but fluent non-native speakers will be considered
  • Highly motivated to achieve the sales targets and to the development of the business
  • A self-starter with lots of initiative
  • Confident and enthusiastic on the phone
  • Good writing skills an advantage
  • Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Travel experience is an advantage

Key job objective:
To meet set targets in generating income from direct (non-agent) sales for the following Twin Group products: year-round EFL, Vacation Courses, Work and Volunteer (inbound and outbound) Twin World Languages, Twin Diplomas. The role initially involves focusing on Work and Volunteer and then will encompass all the Twin Group products.

Specific duties:
The post holder will be responsible for the sales & operations of their personal product portfolio, main duties include:

  1. Liaising between client from initial enquiry through to completion of the programme for a range of agreed programmes
  2. Responding to direct enquiries as directed by Sales Manager and follow-up where necessary
  3. Keeping records of all enquiries received and converted
  4. Monitoring sales against budget and providing monthly progress reports
  5. Working to set sales targets
  6. Developing effective dissemination of sales and marketing materials
  7. Developing effective and transparent systems and procedures
  8. Assisting Credit Control Department if sales results in any payment problems
  9. Providing advice to Marketing Department on techniques of generating additional direct enquiries
  10. Providing appropriate cover and support to other members of the team where required
